HSC-Alim Exam on June 30

A notification claiming that this year’s HSC exam has been postponed by one month spread on social media last Friday. Identifying it as ‘fake,’ the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education advised students and parents not to be confused. This advice was given in an urgent notification from the board on Saturday.
The notification stated that a notice regarding the start date of the 2024 HSC exam has been circulated on social media. The notice was not issued by the examination branch of the Dhaka Education Board. According to the schedule published on the Dhaka Education Board’s website, the HSC exam will start on June 30. Everyone is requested to stay alert against such misinformation.
Abul Bashar, the coordinator of the examination controllers of the inter-education board and the examination controller of the Dhaka Education Board, also confirmed that no decision has been made to postpone the pre-announced exam.
Note: the routine for this year’s HSC exams was published on April 2. According to the schedule, the exam will start on June 30. The written exams will end on August 11, and the practical exams will be completed between August 12 and August 21. According to the routine, the first exam will be the Bangla First Paper. The exams will be held daily from 10 am to 1 pm.
